    fond一般表示习惯上的爱好,不指一时的爱好。

    fond 是形容词,不是动词,通常要和动词be以及介词of连用,表示“喜欢”“爱”的意思,后面跟名词或动名词等。其中of不能省略。

    表示“很〔非常〕喜欢”时,可用very修饰fond,但不可用much来修饰。

    “耍弄”英文是make fun of,在本句中它是介词的宾语,又表被动,所以用动名词的被动式。
